Awaiting Input Quote Detail

You input quote details on this page. You can upload a file containing the quote or manually add quoted work order costs.

The top of the page shows information for the work order for which you are providing a quote.

Estimate Detail File

To upload a file containing the quote details, click Upload and select the quote file from your file explorer.

After uploading, reviewers can download the quote file by clicking the download button.

Input quote costs

Contractor information for the work order is displayed above the table for inputting quote costs, along with the Provider Quote #.

You can add quote charges for the following:

• Travel Charges

• Labor Charges

• Add Parts: For this charge type you select parts saved in your system to add to the quote, and the Cost (Ea) value is populated for you

• Part Adjustment Charges: Allows you to add quote charges for parts not saved in your system

• Miscellaneous Charges

To add quote charges as line items, click the plus sign button for the appropriate charge type. You can add multiple line items for each charge type. You must have quote itemization turned on in order to input costs as line items.

For each line item, input:

• Charge Description: What the quoted charge is for

• Cost (Ea): How much the quoted cost is per unit

• Qty: The number of units being charged

• Line Total (read only): Calculates the cost per unit times the quantity

• Bill Status: Select from the options:

  • Billable : The line item is billable

  • Warranty : The line item is covered under warranty

  • Maintenance Contract: The line item is covered under a maintenance contract

• Tax Rate: Select from the options 10% Rate, 20% Rate, or Zero Tax

• Tax (read only): Calculates the Line Total times the Tax Rate

• Subtotal (read only): Calculates the sum of the Line Total and the Tax

Beneath the table, totals are given for every line item added. You can also add Comments before submitting.

Once you have input quote details, click Submit to submit the quote for review, or Log Note to add the estimate as a note to the work order log.

Submitting the review moves the quote from Awaiting Input to Awaiting Review.
